Music Zone is a High Street retailer of CDs, DVDs and Games. Yorkshire Oak was involved with the supply side of the business We designed database elements, and developed bespoke systems that allow the company to monitor the ordering, purchase and delivery of stock to both the warehouse, and directly to their many stores.
This system interacted with the Electronic ordering systems between the company and its suppliers, with the purchasing and invoicing system and the warehouse and store stock systems.
The system allowed the company to manage the quality of payments to suppliers ensuring that payments were made only for correctly delivered stock and at the correct ordered price.
